If you were a theater kid (or tech kid) in school, this book is for you! I wasn’t a theater kid (unfortunately, looking back now, I wish I was!) but I am a fan of Broadway musicals and plays as an adult and this book is so much fun and I highly recommend it!

‘Long Live the Pumpkin Queen’ by Shea Ernshaw – Audiobook Review

Long Live The Pumpkin Queen is a sequel novel to The Nightmare Before Christmas, telling what happens after Jack and Sally are married – and how Sally handles the transition to Queen. This story was cute, but definitely reads more like a children’s book or low middle grade story rather than a YA story – and there’s nothing wrong with that! It is based off of a Disney movie, after all! Just be aware of that going into this.

Author: Shea Ernshaw

Wrap Up: August 2022

August was a blur – but a good blur. This post is coming later than usual because somehow the end of August/early September has kept me BUSY! August was peak concert month for me – and I loved every second of it. I went to 7 concerts this month, which meant listening to a lot more music and a lot less audiobooks sadly, but I’m embracing whatever my mood feels like! I “only” saw 6 Broadway shows in August, but thats still a pretty good number!

I read 4 books and DNF-ed 1 book in August, but I enjoyed what I read and thats what matters, right?!

I made a separate post for my Broadway Wrap Up, which you can check out here!
