Currently Reading

I recently finished Between The Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer and after finished decided I wanted to read the sequel, Off The Page, as well! I’ll say the sequel is not as good as the original and while it’s fun, its not necessary in my opinion. I’m almost finished with it though and looking forward to see how the story ends!

Recently Finished

Between The Lines was published in 2012 and never a book on my radar until I saw the off-Broadway musical production of the story and fell in love with it! I needed to read the source material and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this! It holds up well even in 2022 and it was very similar to the musical. I’ll have a full review up tomorrow.

Reading Next

After 2 contemporary books in a row, I need a complete switch of genre! I’m hoping to attend the NYC launch event at Books of Wonder for Seoulmates by Susan Lee on September 23, and Melissa Albert is one of the authors in conversation with Susan! I have yet to read anything she’s written so I better start ASAP and thought I would start with Our Crooked Hearts.
