‘Shucked’ & Album Release Party @ Nederlander Theatre: NYC (6/4/23)

I didn’t think I’d be walking on a second Broadway stage this year, but here we are!

The short version: I saw Shucked for a matinee, and attended their ~Album Release Party~ in the evening thanks to Show-Score! That included a musical performance of songs that never made it into the show, jokes that were cut, complimentary drinks & snacks, and having a photo op on stage! (It was also supposed to include a signed album, but they ran out……..)

‘Camelot’ @ Vivian Beaumont Theatre: NYC (5/13/23)

For Saturday’s matinee I finally saw Camelot! Thanks to the LincTix program that Lincoln Center has, I was able to buy a ticket for just $32 (+ fees) with a great view! I bought this ticket back in early March, and early May was the first available time to purchase a ticket at the discounted rate – but it was worth the wait!

‘Prima Facie’ @ Golden Theatre: NYC (5/10/23)

I didn’t think I would be back seeing Prima Facie so soon, but the lottery willed it so. I’m convinced this lottery is just really easy to win, because this is the second time I’ve won! Apparently there are only 10 lotto tickets per show, at $10 each. So I’m really shocked how easy I’ve found this to win – since I’m usually only entering for one show a week.

I made a second trip to Neverland to see Peter Pan Goes Wrong with Neil Patrick Harris one more time before he leaves on May 7th! My friend hadn’t seen the show yet and really wanted to see NPH, so we grabbed some cheap $59 rear mezz seats.

‘The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window’ @ James Earl Jones Theatre: NYC (5/3/23)

The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window originally played at Brooklyn Academy of Music before it made a Broadway transfer, so it would be eligible to be nominated for Tony’s – and it was nominated for Best Revival of a Play, and Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Play for Miriam Silverman.
