For someone who loves Into The Woods, I haven’t seen it nearly enough during its limited run at the St. James Theatre! This was my first (and last) time winning the Into The Woods digital lottery. (Last because you can only win on LuckySeat for any given show once every 60 days according to the rules. Yes I read the rules.)

Broadway Wrap Up: October 2022

I saw 8 Broadway shows in October! It was another busy month with New York Comic Con in the beginning but things are calming down slightly….I say as I’m currently planning a UK trip for the end of November! November’s Wrap Up will hopefully include some West End shows which I’m super excited about!

My favorite show this month was Almost Famous, as you can see by the fact I saw it 3x. Highly recommend seeing it on Broadway! Kpop was also a LOT of fun and I can’t wait to see it again soon!

‘Into The Woods’ @ St. James Theatre: NYC (10/16/22)

There is never a bad time to travel Into The Woods (to grandmother’s house)! I haven’t seen the show since August and this was my first time seeing the new cast since they started in September. I’ve been wanting to see the new cast, so that was part of my reason for going on this day. (The other part being October 16th was the original day the show was supposed to close before it was extended for a final time until January 2023, so since I had already bought these tickets, figured I might as well still go!)

Broadway Wrap Up: August 2022

I saw 6 Broadway shows in August! This is actually the fewest shows I’ve seen in a month in a while, but I’ve already seen almost everything I want to see at this point and I’m saving myself for all the new shows opening in the autumn! I really loved the shows I did see this month. I also attended 7 concerts this month, so really, it balances out to my typical amount of outings a month LOL!

‘Into The Woods’ @ St. James Theatre: NYC (8/23/22)

Is there ever a bad time to venture Into The Woods on Broadway? I think not! I decided to see the original cast one last time before many of them leave on September 4th.

Into The Woods – St. James Theatre, NYC – 7/26/22

Is this my second time seeing Into The Woods this month? …maybe. But when Into The Woods announces that Cheyenne Jackson is going to be a Very Nice Prince (Cinderella’s Prince/Wolf) from July 24 – August 2 while Gavin Creel is away…. You buy a ticket. Right away.

Into The Woods – Opening Night – St. James Theatre NYC 7/10/22

Once upon a time, there was a musical revival that opened for a short run at New York City Center, but it was met with such acclaim it made a transfer to Broadway at the St. James Theatre for a limited engagement – and it just officially opened!
