‘Almost Famous’ @ Jacobs Theatre: NYC (12/11/22)

A rare Sunday evening performance of Almost Famous – since I was already in the city I knew I wanted to catch an evening show so what better to see than my comfort show, Almost Famous!

This was my 5th time seeing Almost Famous, but my first time since it officially opened on November 3rd, 2022! I’m glad I could see the show again in its final form. I last saw it on November 2nd, so at that point I felt like things were pretty set and I don’t think I noticed any changes since then (but it has been over a month since I saw the show!)

Broadway Wrap Up: October 2022

I saw 8 Broadway shows in October! It was another busy month with New York Comic Con in the beginning but things are calming down slightly….I say as I’m currently planning a UK trip for the end of November! November’s Wrap Up will hopefully include some West End shows which I’m super excited about!

My favorite show this month was Almost Famous, as you can see by the fact I saw it 3x. Highly recommend seeing it on Broadway! Kpop was also a LOT of fun and I can’t wait to see it again soon!

‘Almost Famous’ @ Jacobs Theatre: NYC (11/2/22)

I truly didn’t plan to see Almost Famous again during previews, but sometimes these things just have a way of falling into your lap and who am I to say no to attending the final preview performance!

Official opening night is November 3, 2022 so I saw the last preview and I really felt the excitement and energy of the actors on stage! (I heard afterwards at stage door that they were all trying on their opening night outfits after this nights performance~)

Almost Famous Round 3! Unexpectedly had a bunch of understudies on, including Broadway debut for Andrew Poston who played the lead role of William Miller! It was great to see some new faces in roles for my 3rd time seeing this show

No, you saw Almost Famous The Musical for a 2nd time only 9 days after the first time you saw the show. Ok, I saw Almost Famous again and have no regrets about it! Despite the show only playing for a little over a week, I already noticed some changes – which is what previews is about!
