WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

It feels like it’s been AGES since I’ve really blogged, so I’m dipping my toes back in gently with a WWW Wednesday!
I’m currently re-listening to the audiobook of Daisy Jones and the Six to prepare for the Prime show coming out on March 3rd! I haven’t reread Daisy Jones since I originally read it in 2019 and it’s so amazing to revisit these characters again, I love them so much and I missed them. I’m looking forward to the show but I know it’ll be different and I will go in with an open mind.
I’m also reading The Luminaries with the Illumicrate readalong. I actually tried to read this back in November when it was released, but it wasn’t holding my attention so I put it down and am coming back to it now. I’m about 40% in already (shh I’m ahead of the readalong) and….I’m still not feeling it. I’ll give it another day but I might DNF this one sadly, its just not working for me.
Recently Finished

If you tell me a story is inspired by Moulin Rouge, I’m immediately interested. I finished Revelle by Lyssa Mia Smith a few days ago and this story was SO MUCH FUN! It was just released last week on February 14th and I went to her book launch event in NYC on the 17th, and finished this book over the weekend.
I knew I was going to enjoy this one as a fan of both historical fiction and Moulin Rouge, but Revelle stunned me with how beautifully written and well thought out the characters were. If you like forbidden romance, close family bonds, and the real possibility of death of characters (spoiler, not everyone makes it out alive at the end…) – I recommend reading Revelle!

Reading Next

I’m so focused on the two books I’m reading now I’ve barely thought about what I’m going to read next, but these two holds are close to coming in via my library holds, so I’ll read whichever comes in first next!
Begin Again is a contemporary and Cruel Illusions is a fantasy so I may even dual read them! I’m looking forward to both – I loved When You Get The Chance by Emma Lord which I read last year, so I’m looking forward to her latest novel!
What are you currently reading, or plan to read next?
Link your post below and I’ll check it out!

I am so excited for Daisy Jones the show!! Have a great week!

Great post!
I really hope to get around to reading Daisy Jones and The Six this year, but who knows, lol. Begin Again is another book I hope to read this year as well.
I recently finished reading The Lost Ticket by Freya Sampson. My current read is The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave.

Thanks for reading!
I hope you can get to both of them this year, but I know how that is, saying you want to read it and actually reading it are two totally different things LOL!
The Lost Ticket sounds so cute, I might have to check it out~ 🙂
