Currently Reading
I started Together We Burn last night and I’m about 25% into it already. I’m listening to an early audio copy thanks to Libro.fm. I’m unsure how I feel about this one, its very political heavy and has dragons, two things which I don’t like in books. I’m giving this a little longer but already feeling like I might DNF it…
Recently Finished
I just finished Something Wilder last night and I enjoyed it a lot! It felt different from previous CLo books in that this was more adventure and less focused on the romance. There was still romance, but imo it was not the main focus and I was ok with that! I’m seeing mixed reviews on Goodreads and I’ve found I tend to like the CLo books other people don’t like as much, so I’m not surprised by this!
Earlier this week I finished an audio arc of This Vicious Grace and I enjoyed it more than I expected to! This one feels like your typical “chosen one” troupe but switched up and I think that’s why I liked it. It felt familiar and yet new. This is released June 28 so keep an eye out for my full review in June!
Reading Next
I received an advanced copy of Slip and I plan to read this next! I’m on the blog tour for June 7th and I cannot wait to start this graphic novel! I just know I’m going to enjoy it – its about art and its queer – whats not to like?

It does have such a gorgeous cover! The story took be by surprise in a good way, my review should be up in June, since the book releases the end of the month! Ahhh I can’t wait for you to read it, I can’t wait to talk about it with people!!

Sadly it didn’t and I ended up DNF-ing at 37% 😦 But it’s alright, not every book can be a winner!!

That’s interesting about Something Wilder focusing more on the adventure than on the romance. I’m really excited to read that one even though I’ve seen some mixed reviews as well.
