WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

I’ve been eagerly awaiting A Show For Two audiobook to be released and I was thankfully #1 on my library hold and I’m loving it! I’m already 25% in and this story is just what I expected from Tashie; I read Counting Down With You back in March and loved her writing and I’m enjoying this one a lot too 🙂

Recently Finished

You say Holly Black, I read it. Unfortunately Book of Night did not work for me. If this wasn’t Holly Black, I very likely would have DNF-ed this one. It took me a while to get into The Cruel Prince so I gave this book the benefit of the doubt and pushed on, but never once did this story fully captivate me and truthfully, the way it jumped around confused me.

This story is compared to Ninth House and The Night Circus and I definitely felt the Ninth House vibes – which is unfortunate, as I did not like that book either. It felt very similar to Ninth House.

Reading Next

I’m actually heading to Chicago for a quick weekend trip on Friday, and I’m planning to bring my physical arc of This Is Not The Real World on the plane with me – I tend to get a lot of reading done on planes, so despite it being a short flight, hoping to make some progress!

Then my next audiobook will be an audio arc of This Vicious Grace by Emily Thiede! I’m really excited for this one and hope it lives up to my expectations! This isn’t out until the end of June, but I know its in a June book box so I want to make sure I like it before I get that specific box LOL!

      1. Yeah, I’m going to try reselling or trading them! This is why I don’t buy books before reading them very often but of course the one time I did, this happens LOL

      2. I’ve stopped buying books I haven’t read – I get them from the library first and then if I like them, I buy them! Trial period for books LOL

      3. LOL trial period YES I love that! 99% of the time I usually do that too honestly and of course this 1% of time I don’t, I buy ahead of time and don’t like the book – figures! Just my luck!
