Audiobook Review: ‘Bridesmates’

I recently subscribed to Audible and I was looking at their catalog of titles included with membership, and this one caught my eye! But also. Did I pick this audiobook up purely because Teddy Hamilton narrates it? Yes, yes I did 100%.

Title: Bridesmates
Author: Sydney Symth
Series: Standalone
Genres: Romance

Goodreads Summary

This M/M romance is available on Audible and included in your membership and I’m so glad I decided to give this one a try! It’s a short short novella, super quick listen, and I loved it!

Cooper Evans is set to return home to be a “bridesmate” in his best friends wedding and he’s bringing his boyfriend home for the first time. Except as Cooper is leaving his apartment, his boyfriend shows up and breaks up with him. Heartbreaking!

When Cooper returns home, he finds out his first kiss from high school, Will Baker, is now openly gay – which he was not open about his sexuality in high school – and just so happens to be the best man in the wedding.

I had so much fun with this one! I listened to it on my drive home from a wedding which felt super appropriate. This is a quick one but still felt like it was well developed and I liked both Cooper and Will! There is some quick but steamy romance in this one.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a short but hot rom-com.

As mentioned above, I adore Teddy Hamilton’s narration – he is a narrator I will always be happy to see is working on a book! And yes, I will go out of my way to listen to his sexy voice. Highly recommend listening to anything he narrators, but especially this one!

    1. I was skeptical myself but I know I love Teddy Hamilton as a narrator so I figured, ok, I’ll give this a try – and I’m so glad I did! Such a short but fun rom-com! I hope you enjoy it too! 🙂
