WWW Wednesday is hosted by Sam @ Taking on a World of Words! All you have to do is answers the following three questions:

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading

I’ve joined the Fairyloot readalong for their August book, These Hollow Vows by Lexi Ryan and….y’all. I’M OBSESSED. I was hesitant to pick this up but I’m SO glad I did, I’m flying through it, surpassing the readalong because I just can’t stop listening to the audiobook! I’m loving this story. It’s giving me Cruel Prince vibes, but completely different story. So excited to continue reading!

Recently Finished

Its spooky season so spook books ahoy! I read Hold Back The Tide since it was short and seemed to fit the season vibes, but unfortunately I found it extremely boring. I forced myself to finish it since it was short, and towards the end it did get a little more interesting but overall, I gave it a 2/5 stars. I was disappointed since all my friends on Goodreads gave it 4 or 5 stars but it just wasn’t for me.

I also rejoined Audible (as I tend to do every few months) and picked up Self Care By The Moon, which is included with your Audible membership – Carmen at Tomes And Textiles mentioned this book and since it was another short audiobook, I listened to it fairly quickly. I always enjoy self help/self care books and try and take at least one thing away from the book. If you’re looking for a new way of self care and a ‘schedule’ to follow – give this a try and use the moon cycle as a way to reset and take care of yourself.

Reading Next

Nobody tell my October TBR I’m completely deviating from it, shhh. Since I’m on the Audible bandwagon for the next month, I’m going to be listening to what I can from audiobooks included in the membership and see what goes on sale or I decide to buy!

I’m in the mood for some (smut) romance and Sierra Simone never disappoints me – I’m looking forward to listening to Priest for a change of pace from the spooky-ness of this month.

Sunset Springs is another book included with Audible and I loved the last Kacen Callender book I read, Felix Ever After, so I wanted to give this short novella a shot!
